Event Guidelines & Details

Food and Beverage Minimums
All weddings/receptions start at 5p.m or later (special arrangements can be made in off season months). Unless otherwise noted, all weddings will reserve a five-hour time period. Additional hours are available for $500.00 per hour.
For liability reasons, wedding guests are not allowed on the golf course or driving range. DJ and/or bands must abide by a 10 p.m. sound ordinance outside. The day of your event you will have access to the Get Ready Rooms at 10am.
All catering is provided by AVGC. No food or beverage of any kind, with the exception of a wedding cake. Due to health requirements, neither the patrons, nor their guests may take any food from the event.
To allow for proper ordering, all menu selections must be made four weeks prior to your event. Vendor’s meals are also charged at half the price of the selected adult entrée. All food and beverage items will receive a 20% service charge and appropriate sales tax.
In accordance with California State Law, no persons under the age of twenty-one shall be served any alcoholic beverages. All alcohol must be consumed on the Club premises. Failure to comply with these laws will result in immediate closure of the bar for the remainder of the event. To ensure the Club’s ability to order the beverages selected for your wedding, beverages must be confirmed two weeks prior to the event.
Clients are welcome to bring in centerpieces and other decorations for the event if you choose not to what is included in your package. Flower petals at the ceremony site must be real; flower petals inside must be fake. No material may be affixed to the walls or ceilings. No rice, confetti, glitter, or “sparklers” are allowed. All candles must be placed in a votive holder or hurricane lamp. Please have your decorations picked up that evening, including any road signs. The Club is not responsible for any decorations left behind.
Auburn Valley Golf Club provides its scenic outside venue for wedding ceremonies. In the event of inclement weather, it is the responsibility of the Patrons to rent appropriate tents for the ceremony to take place outside. Moving the ceremony inside is an option and our staff will make every effort to keep your day carefree.
The Event Coordinator will advise you on whether to hold the reception inside or not if the weather is uncertain. The ceremony location must be established 24 hours prior to the ceremony, weather permitting.
We will provide you, your bridal part and your guests with shuttle service to and from the ceremony site. Golf carts will not be available for use by the wedding party or its guests. All Golf Carts are to be driven by AVGC staff only. We will allow dogs at the ceremony; no dogs are allowed inside any buildings except service dogs.
